Tupac's charisma

I just saw this movie for the first time and can't get over Tupac's charisma--which is something you either have or you don't; it can't be taught--and overall acting ability. As someone else mentioned in another post, the camera simply loved him--I think he would have had a very, very good acting career.

To all those who thought Janet Jackson's acting was wonderful, HUH? I thought she was every bit as bad as he was good. She's very pretty but her mannered acting was just god-awful. Also, Regina King was great! She made the most of her small part in Boyz in The Hood and she doesn't disappoint here, either.

I have to agree with you. 2pac has that charisma even when he isnt acting if you've ever seen his documentaries and stuff. It's something about his personality. (no homo)

I gotta tell ya, when it comes to rappers-turned actors or actors-turned-rappers-turned-actors, Tupac is better than Will Smith. He's that damn good and it's such a shame that he's no longer with us.

Tupac could've easily gotten an Oscar nomination by now if he was still here..Kinda like with Marky Mark.

Completely agree with you. I watch this and think what a shame that his life was cut so short. Such a waste of talent and intellect.

On a lighter note, the profanity, slang, cultural memes, etc. were so dead on for the hood out here in LA County. In that sense John Singleton succeeded imo with this movie even if Janet's acting sucked and the story line wasn't all that.
