I always laugh at the scene at the start of the movie. Was actually a real place on Rosecrans. Right down the street from Louis Burgers and Lueders Park. I remember seeing E.T. And Mad Max there as a kid. They only showed Spanish films there for awhile in the early 90s then tore it down and built a bunch of 2 story houses there in about 2006. It was just an empty lot before that.

I remember seeing a double feature of La Bamba And Colors there in 1988. Saw like 5 fights that night, lol. I was 11.

Hahaha. I saw 3 movies there. Besides E.T. Mad Max and one of the Pee Wee Herman movies. I was 7 or 8. The only thing I remember besides the movies were riding in the trunk of my aunts car.
