My great grandmother used to live in that neighborhood, literally a few blocks away from the Snooty Fox and I live about 12 mi from there and while it's not a sex motel, it's a pretty cruddy/seedy place to be these days. Actually, I'm 20 and ever since I can remember it's been that way, lots of prostitution and so on. I think it might have had it's heyday in the 70s or something.
