How the hell did that woman lawyer know that Andy went to that gay cinema? Did she know it previously or she just got lucky in her questions? Did she investigate Andy's past or questioned his friends?

She obviously investigated his past. Lawyers hire investigators to do this work although there's a bit of dramatic license here. Unlikely an investigator would turn up this tidbit that occurred back in 84 or 85

You'd be so surprised what these guys can do. Nurses working for half nothing can easily be 'persuaded' to access sensitive information. It's perfectly plausible that Andy confided in his Doctor the exact nature of his escapades and some nurse or admin person with student loans coming out their ears got the info especially in the mid eighties when security was a joke.

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time Del Boy, it's them that started me drinking!

I was always assuming she didn't really know, but took a shot at it, relying on her expectation that Andy would tell the truth on the stand.

No way she could have known, so it's a hokey bit of emotional plot manipulation, really, to make the defence look despicable in the lengths they'll go to. Andy wouldn't have told anyone about that -- certainly not anyone who would have confided the information against him.

You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.
