What caused Darby and Gray to jump out of the car in the parking structure and not turn the starter key with the bomb attached?

It sounded like a name they read from the paperwork but I couldn't make it out.

Darby knew the car was going to blow up because it failed to start right away, which was the same thing that happened to her boyfriend's car right before it exploded, which she witnessed.
