Who played the assassin?

Not the Stanley Tucci assassin.

There is a short, very tough looking guy who chases them around, wires the bomb into Denzel's rented car in the parking garage, tries to run them down and finally gets blown up in the same chase. He looks European and I know I've seen him as a European hood in other movies. He's the guy who chases Julia Roberts through Mardi Gras and gets in a fight with the biker guys.

I've checked every likely name in the cast list, even the unlikely ones, and I can't find him.

Can anybody either:

1. Tell me his name?

2. The name of a movie he's been in?

I'd like to know, too. I swear he's also in the HBO series, "Rome."

is it nicholas woodeson?
because he's in "rome" and was in the film. he's credited as "stump"
