should i buy the book?

YES!!!!

The book is SO much better than the movie! Though, since you know what happens becuase of watching the movie, it might not be so suspenseful. Please read the book, that goes for every John Grisham book made into a movie, the movies arent very good, but the books are good.

I had always thought that the movie The Pelican Brief was very good. I had watched it several times and always really enjoyed it. My brother told me that the book was so much better than the movie and he didn't really like the movie as a result. I never understood how this could be the case, since the movie was so good as well. Anyway, my point is that I finally got around to reading the novel Pelican Brief and it was by far my favorite Grisham book. I finished it and thought to myself, now I understand what my brother meant. The movie stands alone as a good movie when not compared to the book, but the book is definitely much better than the movie is. I would definitely recommend buying and reading the Pelican Brief, because even though you have seen the movie and will know basically what will happen, it is still enthralling and suspenseful.
