Great Movie, But...
Why didn't she make a copy of her original brief?
shareBecause it's a plot hole! Something that simple, and there would be no movie, which might have been a relief.
Frankly, Julia Roberts has the acting talent of a meter maid, and could have phoned in her performance, whispering and all. She comes across as weak and wimpy, a real wallflower that one hopes could have been taken out by the assassins, and saved the audience all the pain of this bunny-hugging environmental boo-hoo.
Darby was not weak and wimpy; she was a young student who was scared for her life. In the beginning of the story she is quite bold and opinionated, but after seeing her boyfriend blown up and running from assassins, I think she is entitled to look a bit scared.
shareSeeing this again, I find Julia's acting in this movie pretty amazing. Her range of emotion is rather astounding as well. It is a good thing she (Or her character) Runs as fast as she does. Saved her life more than once.
