I'm confused. Please elaborate.

I can eliminate your confusion and elaborate by saying that OP is a fag.

I`m sorry for my lack of manners, but I`m not used to escorting men.

And the Koch brothers would NEVER do anything like the Mattiece character in this movie does!

reply

Actually, they wouldn't.

The sad truth is real life tycoons like the Kochs don't have to commit actual murder to get what they want. They just buy up all the politicians on both sides of the aisle, and they get what they want anyway.

What's maddening to me about these plots is how "small minded" they are. They're the hoi polloi version of what rich, powerful people do to stay in power. We'd love to catch them in the act of doing some illegal and evil, as opposed to just corrupt (and evil) but legal.

Instead, we have them getting their way anyway, at the cost of all the rest of us, without ever facing actual consequences.

I agree.

“However [political parties] may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion.”

― George Washington
