Tilda's genius in this role--13 years before 'Narnia'

Tilda is fantastic. I saw Constantine earlier in the year, and she was the only thing keeping me from going insane from watching Keanu Reeves try to act.

Is it just me, or has Tilda made a career out of looking a little man-woman-man? (The roles she's played that I can name off the top of my head are Orlando, Gabriel in Constantine and now Jadis the White Witch. She's definitely using her unique look to her advantage)

Yeah, she has definitely capitalized on the 'androgynous' look, particularly for Orlando (I haven't see Constantine or Narnia yet). But for her role in The Deep End she played a regular American housewife, and quite convincingly.

She really is fantastic.

I was shocked to learn that it was actually she who played in Penny in "Broken Flowers". She is without no doubt a great actress.

P.S. I watched Orlando last night and Im gonna watch it right now-) and I really loooove when Tilda says or looks directly to the camera in this movie-)

I LOVE Tilda!

The first thing I ever saw her in was the movie "The Beach". She seems to have this aura about her, almost regal, she commands respect from the audience without asking for it. She is not what alot of people would consider "pretty", yet I think she is absolutly amazingly beautiful. Those eyes seem like they could pierce into one's soul. My fave character that she has played is the Archangel Gabriel. W O W. She's in the movie for only a very brief time twards the beginning and then agian at the end, but when she's on the screen you can't take your eyes off of her. She really seems like a powerful ageless, omnicient archangel who has existed for untold millenia.

Tilda is one great actress. I had no idea she was in Constantine, but I remember Gabriel and thinking: "Wow, what a great actress, love her voice". Saw Orlando and was gobsmacked. She's W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L-L. And of course she pulls off that androgenous look. And very sexy without the 30 pounds of makeup and fake blonde wigs and big tits.

I must agree she was wonderful in this film. She and I are the same age, and I saw it when it was first released.

She is quite beautiful, almost like me and I'm a guy. Too bad she is married, we would look good together (so vain)
