Leland Gaunt/Max von Sydow
How can you figure that Max von Sydow looks the same in "Needfull Things" as<br> he does in "The Exorcist" filmed some 30 years earlier.
I never have figured that out.
Von Sydow was actually in his early 40s when The Exorcist was filmed. Makeup was used to artificially age him for the role of the elderly Father Merrin.
