I saw this movie when I was around... 8 or 9. Man.. I was terrified for a good long while after seeing it.

It's not scary, is it? I'm too freaked out to go watch it again. Some things just stick with you, I guess.

The only part I really remember was the lady coming out with the shotgun and yelling something about the dog... but I could be mistaken...

This movie wasn't scary at all. It wasn't even that funny. If you're looking for humor and horror you gotta read the book.

In my opinion, it was both funny and scary. Of course, it all depends of the viewer. I don't find gore and jump scares to be scary. But when I think what would I be willing to do if Gaunt came with a business proposition to me, I get scared.
