Hot Shots?

It's been a while since I've seen this but isn't there a part when Emilio Estevez is trying to cut the wires on a bomb and Jon Lovitz comes up behind him and says something about it being just like Hot Shots? How did he mean that, I don't see any similarities between that scene and any in Hot Shots, or do they just mean the plot(because Emilio and Charlie Sheen are brothers)? Maybe I'm just slow but I don't get that line.

what he means was, in HOT SHOTS! charlie sheen stars in a spoof movie. since emilio estevez and charlie sheen are brothers Lovitz is accusing estevez of coping his brother by trying to star in another spoofmovie.

I never even thought of that til I read this thread.

I do like it Estevez tells Becker that 'this ones got your name all over it' and it does have his name on the wire.
