Rip-off of My Best Friend Is A Vampire

The only difference is the main character is a zombie instead of a vampire.

idk about that. I haven't seen my boyfriend's back or my best friend is a vampire in a long time but i recall both movies being pretty good.

Yeah I Like my best friend is a vampire too. I just love My Boyfriends back and feel it's a far superior movie. I get protective of my favourites.

The only similarity between the two movies is that the main character is a male teen, who's best friend is a male teen, and the main character is in love with a girl. The same could be said for ANY teen romance comedy.

I don't see that at all. But, it does owe a huge debt to the "Monsters" episode titled "My Zombie Lover". In fact, it sort of beats the concept of "Zombieland" to the punch, as the town has its zombie problem yearly, and the community makes it a big event for zombie hunters, as well as zombie sympathizers.

The main difference is the ending though it, too, ends up happily ever after in its weird way.
