Kate Beckinsale
Wow 20 years later she looks even better than in this film!

She's had a nose job and some other work done.
shareAh.

I agree she had a nose job and some other work. Just saw this today, and yes she looks very different from how she looked in Much Ado About Nothing to a few years later. She is still pretty, but her facial structure is changed. Reminded me of Nicole Kidman and her changed appearance from her early roles.
shareExcept Nicole Kidman turned into a hideous monster.

It's interesting that her daughter, Lily, has her "old" nose. She looks lovely with it, as did Kate. Not sure why she had it done.
beckinsale clearly had her teeth done since the movie, that can usually make a massive difference in some1s appearance.
shareWhat did you smoke, and can I get some of that?
shareI don't know what surgical help the lovely Miss Beckinsale has had, but she certainly looked different. If I weren't already aware that she was playing Hero in the movie, I wouldn't have known it was her. The contrast between KB in this movie and the KB of just a few years later, in LAST DAYS OF DISCO, is pretty dramatic. Today I think she's one of the best-looking women in movies, but back in 1993 she was (based on this movie) just a passably okay, nothing special young woman.
shareShe was awfully young here, probably still nineteen when the movie was shot, and so many women get better looking with age. The really great-looking woman here is Emma Thompson.
shareI think she just got older. I'm not a big fan of Kate Beckinsale tbh, but Emma Thompson in this movie is WELL FIT.
shareShe looks great now, but my goodness 20 year-old Kate from 1993 is one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen. What an angel!
shareI don't agree that she looks better now. Now she's a beautiful woman, in this film she was just becoming a woman and looks pretty much like the ideal of what the role calls for - a maiden just coming into the world. I think she's fairly breathtaking in the film.
I agree with a couple of others here, though, and with Benedick - Emma Thompson's Beatrice is even lovelier. I don't think she's ever looked more beautiful than she did in this film.
You think you’re smart, but you’re not. You’re dumb. Very dumb. But you’ve met your match in me!
I fully agree!
shareShe's kind of a cutie in this movie
