awkward.
I find it amusing that Beatrice and Benedict are played by Trelawny and Lockhart.
Also made it a bit awkward to watch.

Don't forget Margaret = Imelda Staunton = Dolores Umbridge
shareFurthermore, they were married in real life at the time...
'Thank you for flying Church of England - cake or death?'
Who are Trelawny and Lockhart?
shareThat just makes it even better lol. Face it, Harry Potter actors are the best actors.
shareSomeone ought to write a fanfic about Trelawny and Lockhart's ugly divorce, and Bellatrix LeStrange's role in the breakup of their marriage!
Because yes, Helena Bonham Carter, who played Bellatrix in the movies, reportedly had an affair with Brannaugh around the time the marriage broke up. Gawd, the world of British actors must be practically incestuous, they all seem to be marrying or bonking or divorcing each other.
Oh no, I wasn't aware of that drama. I knew about the divorce, but not that Helena Bonham Carter was in the mix. I'd rather not have a fan fic about that, it would be probably be terrible. Then again, that may be really entertaining and hilarious.
shareOh, that fanfic would definitely have to be written with a sense of humor! Of course, nobody younger than me would get it, so I couldn't be arsed to take the trouble.
But yeah, the world of Brit actors seems to be a small place where everyone has a history with everyone else. Like, Alan Rickman and Emma Thompson had been friends forever (or at least since "Sense and Sensibility" in 1995), and had recommended old pal Imelda Staunton for the role of Umbridge, but Thompson didn't have any scenes with her ex-husband Brannaugh...
