What did you think of Stu?
Was he a good guy?
shareIn the end I think he was. The movie was set to make you feel like Daniel deserved another shot, but the only thing I can see villainous in him is calling him a loser. But he was right at that point.
shareYes, he was. Daniel was jealous of him, but that was his issue, not Stu's. Even in the end, he had good cause to sue Daniel, since the trick with the pepper could have killed him, but apparently he didn't. That says a lot.
shareDid he know that it was Daniel who had put the pepper on his food? I can't remember...

He mostly was, he had his faults yes, but in the end he was. He cared 100% for Miranda as he took the time to ask about her and how she was on their first meeting, he was respectful to her and didn't invade her space. He then took his time to be cool to the kids and he started to like them.
His 2 main faults was he was a little arrogant and was awful about Daniel, but he didn't know how good of a dad he was. He was just going by her own created rep.. granted Daniel coulda killed him but he was real decent for saving him. I think once the hurt went away he would grow to respect Daniel and help him with the kids.
Stu was more for Miranda than Danny Boy was, he was her same type and had her same brain. Her and Daniel were 2 different types.
He was alright, but he didn't have the same chemistry as Daniel and Miranda
shareOverall he was 'alright'. No guy is gonna be %100 with the new guy with you ex, especially if you didn't want to break it off in the first place AND they are potentially seeing your kids more than you are.
The feelings were mutual - Stu called Daniel a loser behind his back and just came off as that arrogant, not likeable kinda guy, but he wasn't 'bad'. He was alright toward Miranda, the kids and even Mrs. Doubtfire.
