Lee

In this movie, was Lee really Mike's sister?

Nothing beats replying to a six year old post, but I feel like I must note how moments before Mike addressed Beatey McSlapaho, he had to have Wayne remind him of Lee's name....so it was fairly obvious he was just using symbolic colloquilisim w/ Mustachio Monpuncheye.

And the flowers are STILL standing.

Spoilers:
Lee seemed to get the short end of the stick in this movie. Early on it's shown that she likes her neighbor Wayne(his partner Mike even mentions it at one point), but is rejected and ends up with another cop but a woman-beater. She's more or less rescued by Mike but meanwhile Wayne, who was too timid to help her, has hooked up with the younger and prettier Glory. Later on Lee even gives Wayne money without question so he can try and "buy" Glory back from her boss Frank. And by the end of the movie it appears that Wayne & Glory are going to live "happily ever-after" in their apartment across from Lee's. I'm not sure if it was the writer's intention to leave Lee's character somewhat unresolved or if something was edited/changed but something didn't seem quite right.
