I agree; it had a good story, good acting and a hell of a soundtrack!
I loved it.
The sequels were not that good, but this first one is at least worth a 6.5-7.0

Are you kidding? The first is one of the worst! Now Leprechaun 3, that's something!

Oh, and BTW, I think it's safe to assume that you just wasted your time reading my signature.

When I first saw it I got the impression that the film wasn't taking itself too seriously. So in that context I think it deserves a slightly higher rating. Not too high a rating though as I still believe it falls under the "so bad it's good" category.

Well, it's not so bad it's good, but it doesn't take itself fully seriously either. It's just an entertaining movie to me. At least a low five would be considered sufficient, even though 5.5 is an average rating.

LOL of course it's underrated. It's a trashy Horror comedy and would deserve something between 5-6.
