Nope. I was 13 when I saw it, at the movies and most of the people looked
at it as part comedy.
Terrified me as a kid, even til this day it does and I'm 19. No other horror movie character other than maybe Freddy Krueger scares the *beep* out of me and I think it's the whole human aspect to them, they can walk and talk and actually understand what's going on and they can make these horrid decisions to kill you. Movie Characters like Jason, Michael Meyers, Jigsaw, PumpkinHead, and even the more pyschological/thriller horror movie characters who are actual ppl don't scare me as bad as those 2 do. It's the look and the concept that they can and will do what they do that terrifies me.
R.I.P Adam Goldstein AKA DJ AM..... Heaven will finally have it's house DJ. Rock that *beep*
It sacred the *beep* out of me man it was the little guys the Leprechaun and Chucky that did it with the puppet master ones as well. I was about 4 watching this the first time
The reason Wacko Jacko died is because it's heart just couldn't BEAT IT anymore.
I remember years ago they were doing a segment on it on Entertainment Tonight which I was watching in my parent's room, it was a new movie at the time so this must've been in '93. I was about 3 years old and they showed the part where Aniston confronts the Leprechaun at the well, "I'm a Leprechaun," that part. I also remember the hand going through the phone receiver. That feels soooo long ago and I was pretty freaked out, but I sort of forgot about this movie until I was about 10 or something when I saw it. It was scary at the time but now its become a good comedy.
shareNope!
No spoilers today!!
I remember I was about 5 or 6 when I saw this movie. I remember sleeping with a curtain rod next to me just in case he pops out under the bed. He was my second fear as a child, that clown Pennywise will always be my first. I still can't stand to look at clowns.
I'm very responsible, when ever something goes wrong they always say I'm responsible.
This movie TERRIFIED me as a child. I was only 6 when it came out and watched it with one of my older brothers. I had horrible nightmares... until years and years later I saw Leprechaun in the Hood and then suddenly the nightmares stopped! LOL.
I am SO happy I am not the only one who Leprechaun scared as a child!!
When I was about 7 or 8 I was made to watch this along with Child's Play at a friend's sleepover and they both scared the sh*t out of me, even though I now have no problem with horror movies I absolutely refuse to watch either of these movies!
shareNo, but I remember around I think 95 when this was on at night and I saw it with a friend of mine and my late grandfather. Boy, my grandfather sure loved it lol! He couldn't stop laughing at all the bad things the Leprechaun did! I don't think he ever truly saw a horror/scary movie before, but this movie he really enjoyed and laughed alot at.
shareLol. Amazing site!
