I remembered this film from when I was a wee lad!

In a child's bedroom there is a little tiny closet where a creature lives (I do not remember what kind of creature...perhaps a gnome, elf, troll, goblin, hamster demon). Anyway, this creature comes out and has a little tiny knife that it stabs people with. And then at the end the creature gets its little cute hand chopped off by a fan in the bedroom. I also believe this movie involved a CAT.

THAT'S ALL I GOT.

OH your thinking of Cats Eye
Its a Stephen King film with different segments that revolve around the cat and one of the segments has a little creature coming out of a little girls closet and stabbing people

I tried to watch that when I was about fifteen and I couldn't do it. I can sit through almost anything but this just freaked me out. I think the wife and cat were being tortured or something and I could not handle it.

Classic movie!

I remember how the troll pinched the girls nose together and sucked out her soul/life. This is why i have a cat!
