Low rating is unfair

Granted this film isn't a masterpiece but as far as comedy horrors go this is by far one of the better ones.

I gave it an 8/10. I think people take it way too seriously. It's not supposed to be a terrifying masterpiece like Psycho or The Exorcist, just a silly, fun little horror comedy. If it did try to be a gritty, dark horror movie it wouldn't be nearly as good because who is going to take a killer leprechaun so seriously? Because of that, I think it was wise to take the comedy route and it was a pretty fun horror movie that I think kids as well as adults could enjoy.

I gave it a 7. Saw it for the first time in years today. Warwick Davies is so cool as the leprechaun!

I love horror comedies. Critters and Killer Klowns from Outer Space are two of my favorite movies. I even loved Flying Monkeys (2013) but this was just boring. Nothing very funny or scary about it. And the characters do the stupidest things. I know that's what most characters do in horror movies, but this was stupid even by those standards.

I would say its more boring than bad though.
