Any chance of a special edition DVD?

I watched the movie recently, like it, but was looking for some special features to gain some insight on the artists, but there weren't any.

Anyone have any information?

There have long been rumours of a 4 hour+ version of this movie, since the edited theatrical version came down to almost 2½ hrs. Personally, I'd LOVE to see that extended one, but I suspect that it may not ever happen.
