I mean really, every other scene had somebody boo-hooing. I felt like I was drowning in saltwater.

I sort of felt the same way, only my reaction was more "Babel"-related, in that every story was a freaking horror story. At least in this one, they all had realistic happy endings, rather than *beep* "let's beat the *beep* out of all these characters as much as possible so people will cry and give us an oscar" Babel story.
