They filmed this in 1991?

No wonder Miko Hughes looked so young in the movie. He was small for his age because he played a role of a three year old and I figured he was six when the movie was filmed. But no I looked at the business information for this and it said they filmed it in 1991. I was five when they filmed it and they were done when I was six. What took them nearly two years to release the film after they started filming it?

Now I am confused. I thought Miko was 7 during filming playing a 3 year old because he was naturally small for his age, but if they filmed in 1991 it explains why he really looks 3. He WAS younger than 7, he was 5. Still a small kid though. It makes sense they filmed in '91 though because the boy who plays Jack also played in the movie "Bingo" which came out about the same time and he looks about the same age in both movies. Thanks.
