Now one thing that bothers me...

Did Strick's dog really get poisoned by that neighbour, or is that just what Jack's thinking?
Doesn't really seem to go in depth on that particular part.
Sure, that dog ended up in their front lawn, but what really happened?
Out of all the things related to Norman, that dog seemed the least hostile.

I know now that there is such a thing as a living evil.

I kind of always though he did it himself. I'm not sure what Norman was thinking the entire movie, part of me thought he had it out for Jack from the begining to the end of the movie. Everything he did seemed to be aimed tword hurting jack and his family but when it came to others he left them alone. Except for Dexter, I'm not sure what his problem was. A sexual predator? he confused me either way. Sorry I probably just made you more confused. lol

Norman was a sick, weird twisted prick who preyed on a family, full of new and difficult problems. Dillion was NOT sexually molested by Morman or anyone else. Go back and watch it. They made a point to let the viewers know, that Dillion had not been molested sexually.

I love how people DON'T listen and take things out of context, and draw their own conclusions.

What, just for once in your life can't you be serious?

Norman was a neo-nazi. The movie is a little confusing, but from what I can tell, Jack's mother was Jewish- at least that was the impression I always had. His father, John Leary, is Irish (John Leary is a typical Irish name). Norman hated Jack because he represented the mixing of "white" (Irish) blood with Jewish blood, and neo-nazis view Jews as subhuman. That was my take on it.

He wasn't a sexual predator. He abducted Dylan to torment John (I always had the sense he was "punishing" John for having half-Jewish children and for mocking his neo-nazi views on public television)- it states shortly after Dylan is found that he wasn't molested (i a voice over by Jack). The only reason Norman has any interest in Dexter is to use him to torment Jack on Halloween (by giving him the nazi uniform).

Norman was a neo-nazi, raised almost certainly by Nazis and he is twisted and sadistic. He wants to cause pain to people he views as subhuman.
