I remember where John Was trying to put the bed back together and it kept disassemble it;s self and he gets angry and scares his youngest son. Then he goes to his neighbor's to look for the other boy who had the Nazi outfit.

And the other boy who dressed like a Nazi, Was that his Parents or Grandparents he stayed with?

I believe Dexter stayed with both but after his mother passed it just became his grandparents. I don't think his dad was present in the film.
