My Opinion Of This Film Is....
It's a masterpiece!! God, I truly love this movie. Why is it not out on DVD!!!!! On the Criterion Collection website I requested this movie as one Criterion should re master, add a ton of extras, or JUST release on DVD!!!! Everybody should see this. Lili Taylor is absolutely perfect. Well, they all are. The saddest moment for me was when the brother commits Hara-kiri as he listened to Madame Butterfly. Just one perfect, beautifully acted, memorable, powerful scene after another. This film is the reason I love movies so much.
