Many of the slapstick progeny of the Airplane movies are worthless but this one belongs in the top tier IMO. Much better than Hot Shots 1 (which I thought was sub-mediocre)

Airplane 1: A
Naked Gun all: A-
Top Secret: A+
Hot Shots Part Deux: A-
