I caught the last 30 minutes of this on encore the other day (I own the movie anyway) and was reminded how great this movie was. Well, maybe it wasn't great, but it was so much better than Scary movie 3 and probably 4, which I haven't seen.

It's a shame because Zucker is doing the scary movies and they don't live up to the past work. Hot shots is so good because, while it spoofed particular movies, the dialogue was so good and witty. The jokes just keep coming.

yeah, and one other thing, I just finnished watching it, and realised. It's better put together than the latest blockbusters we have gotten the last years too... If only I got this much excitement out of MI3 and Davinci Code...

I'm fairly picky about movies I like, and Hot Shots Part Deuce is one of my favorite movies ever; however, I LOVED Mission Impossible 3. Perhaps you should give it another go. The In Medias Res opening, the dialogue, the action scenes. Magnificent.

they did stop making movies like this. like everything is made funny because of things that are wrong. like whenharley shots the gaurd off of the look out, he falls down a slid, and its actually a kiddy set. but now they have comedys today that arn't really funny, like adam sandler, and david spade, and rob shnider.
