Just curious if you all liked the first one better, or if you liked Part Deux better. I never laughed much at the first movie with the Top Gun spoof.

Part One is on my Top Ten comedy list. Part 2 is pretty funny, just not on the level of Part 1.
shareI also think that "Hot Shots! 2" is funnier than the first one. XD It is one of the most funniest movies I've ever seen!
The gag-per-minute rate is more high and the gags are more absurd.

This one was alot better though, alot funnier too.
I think it's on the basis of whether you like Top Gun or Rambo, the two main movies spoofed by the Hot Shots movies.
sharei've never even seen either one of those movies... (yeah i know... lol) but i still like the second movie much more! the first one had some good scenes, but overall was not that good.

I used to like the original more, but I haven't watched these movies a few years. A lot of times, my opinion changes.
