OH BOY
This is a TERRIBLY written script. The story is fine but the actual script dialogue is so incredibly corny and it never lets up. Too many cheesey cliches and "down home" corniness combined with Bates' proud earnestness sometimes make it hard to buy into. Well-intentioned but could have used help. Nevertheless if you can overlook that or don't notice it, then you'll enjoy.
