Is it true this film is being remade?

Because that might be a good idea, this is the sort of film that ought to be remade, one that could be better done.

It's SO uneven - it's like the kid actors think they're in a serious coming-of-age drama, and the witches think the movie is a very broad comedy. If someone does a remake that makes it seem like everyone is in the same movie, it might be fun.

I disagree on it needing to be remade. But yes, it is in the process of being remade into a Disney Channel movie. It will probably leave out the adult humor and be simplified for children since it will be a tv release on the Disney channel.

I see what you're saying but I don't see why it is an issue.
