'I resent the cheap artwork in my room'

When Hexina said this, it panned to show a "painting" of a UPC symbol.

Can anyone tell me if this was a joke, or an actual painting?

I *assume* that they were just trying to show the ultimate in cheap commercial hotel art, but I also wondered if this was actually a famous pop-art painting by Andy Warhol or something...

Or something.

Oh yeah, that was funny too, this movie had more laughs per minute than ANY movie of that early '90s time period...bar none!

I always took it more.. as it was the UPC of a cheap item. Honestly I've never actually gone so far as to look up the UPC code online, or even if it is a real UPC. But I always took that it was like a UPC for something "cheap" and not something chic like high end accessory, perfume etc. Unfortunately its not a real #, or at least not one recognized today as its missing at least 3 digits I think.
