I met Lance Henriksen today

He was at Collectormania in Milton Keynes, England and I went specifically to meet him coz I collect Alien actor autographs from the actors in person.

He is an amazing guy, very chatty and friendly and he was really excited to be there with the fans.

I asked him about Hard Target, the scene in which he gets set on fire was rumoured to be accidental and that he went with the flow of it - I was sure that was wrong due to the fact that he had fire-retardant gel in his hair during that scene, but wanted to ask him anyway.

He said that it was not an accident, they had planned it, but the first take wasn't good enough for John Woo so they set him on fire again and he didn't have enough gel on his head so his ears got burnt.

If anyone gets the chance to meet him I recommend it, he is a really nice guy.
