they don't make action movies like this anymore. the slowmo was soo awesome, and the one man against like 100 was sweet at the end! the chick was cute, not slutty but just cute enough and the kills were WOW. by both sides. greta action flick, and sad they don't make them like this anymore.

This movie oozes awesomeness and should have been the first of multiple Van Damme/John Woo collaborations. Fans are dying for a 20th anniversary bluray extended directors cut!

What's sad is this movie only has a rating of 5.9
Hard Target was the one of the biggest movies that came out in 1993 coming in second with only The Fugitive leading at number one at the box office.
This truely is one of the best action movies ever and I am sad that it is the only one that features Van Damme and Woo together.

This movie is an action classic that deserves a much higher rating. The characters are great, the pacing is perfect, the action sequences are spectacular, and the superb climax is one of the best I've ever seen. But above all... it's Woo and Van Damme in their prime, man!
By the way, it's sad indeed. Give me those old-school slow mo's over these shaky-cam jizzers any day of the week.
