Chance's age...

First of all this movie is a guilty pleasure. I know its grade b theater but I enjoy watching it now and then especially around Mardi Gras time.
When the head bad guy is looking at Chance's Military records file, if you loom in it shows that he did three tours of duty in Vietnam. Well Van Damme was born in 1960, so his character has aged awesomely or he is a Highlander!!!
Now granted this film was written with Kurt Russell in mind, who was the right age for the Chance, though I could not see Russell doing a Cajun accent.
It is never said in the film that Chance was a Vietnam, just that he was a member of USMC Force Recon.
Just thought it was some interesting facts to share.
