So sad

I thinkn it's so sad he died and he craved human contact, i'm watching Free Willy now.

Animals that are not domesticated should be in there natural habitat!

I hope he was well loked after in Norway by people

Keiko died as a result of complications from pneumonia...not loneliness.

I find it hard to believe an animal can actually die from loneliness (not disputing the fact he felt lonely)

but I have it on good authority that he was very well looked after in Norway...he just got sick.

i wonder if thats really the case here. because sometimes these reporters don't even know what these whales died of or any animal. I kept asking myself this because I was totally concerned about Keiko in the beginning the moment I heard that he was in poor health. That really got me devastated. If I knew earlier that Keiko was in bad health before the second movie came out, and if I was the age i'm at now which is 27 I would have adopted that whale in notime. I would have called Warner Bros. and the Free Willy foundation and I would have said to them if they are still looking for a costal sight to build Keiko a new home they can send people over to my place and build a pool in my backyard for keiko to swim in. At my place we have tones of room for that. No problem. Now I've been talking to my parents and I told them that when I get out of my house and I get a place of my own thats the first thing I'm doing getting a pool built in underground but except bigger. Probably as big as the beach is (if I can afford to take up that much room) so this way I can adopt the next famous animal like an orca or a beluga whale and that way they can rehabilitate and not only that their health will not be at risk. My dad and I when we had goldfish we were a team of taking care of those. We knew how to take care of them in perfect ways. Thanks to that they were able to survive way longer then the manager of the pet stores even said they would live upto. It was awesome. They were so big that it almost came to be impossible for us 2 to get a fish tank that these fish could fit in. We were like wow what in the world did we feed these fish that they came out so healthy like this and their health was in perfect shape. We are willing to take care of orcas and other whales and make sure they are as perfect like the fish we took care of were. If we adopted Keiko at that time Keiko would have still been alive. Nothing would have happened to him. We would create a project to change the water in his tank everytime so this way he wouldn't get that virus like he had before. and he would be in healthy shape.
I am the man of my word at that. It's true. But anyway my point is the next time they announce that a whale is indeed need of help. any whale it can be a famous one that was casted in a movie. my advice to everyone is to write to whatever foundation that is running the thing for doing the right thing for that whale and tell them that it is important to send the whale to a home of a families where they will have a pool that is much bigger and more responsible like i am and that way they can be asure that the whale will do just fine there.

That is one big whale it's really sad that he died. I didn't see the movies right away i was only 6 when free willy came out. It always makes me cry when jesse say's to willy "don't forget me and i won't forget you ok" and the end song by Michael Jackson
