i was never a fan of RP until i saw this film. she is ABSOLUTELY REMARKABLE and should have gotten an Oscar nomination! (at the very least)

watching this movie reminded me that Rosie Perez is not pretty... I won't say that she is ugly, but she is not pretty...

AND THE VOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I would almost rather listen to nails on a chalk board... I WISH THAT SHE HADN'T BEEN CAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

she did a good job, but everytime she came on screen I just hoped that she wouldn't say anything!!!!!

She should have won the Oscar for this. NO QUESTION about it. You can wisecrack about her voice all you want.

Bridges is so good, you can almost ignore Perez' unwelcome presence. It could have been worse. It might have been Fran Drescher. Or Roseanne Barr. or Ellen DeGeneres. Or Ashanti. Or Queen Latifah. Or Anne Heche -- no wait, she already did her plane crash flick, with Harrison Ford.
