Worst Wife ever in cinema history?

She ruined this man's life for no reason at all. She clearly didn't love him, and was probably only using him for her own personal benefit. He didn't do anything wrong at all, and exaggerates his history of anger so she can get a justification of getting rid of him for good, and nothing she said about his behavior was very reliable at all. How sad.

The woman who D-FENS lived with? Somehow, I thought that was his MOTHER, she looks far too old to be his wife.

Are you referring to Barbara Hershey's character or Lois Smith? If you mean Barbara Hershey, then LOL.

reply

You Thought Barbara Hershey was Michael Douglas mom? they are almost the same age

reply

AMJF may be a troll or confused. I was referring to Barbara Hershey.

reply

Yeah i understand you are refering to Barbara Hershey and anwsering your post i think is more complex of what we would think, as much i simpatize with D-Fens but he seems like a very unnstable individual, someone with constant explosion of anger at the most little things and violent change of mood, even maybe bypolar and this was the early 90's i dont know how much this dissorder was knew o treated back them

Remember the video when he force the girl to be in the toy he buy even when she was crying the wife told him to no force the child and he get angry and frustrated and them ask the wife to smile and get angry because she doesnt, like he cant understand why she woulnd't smile under that circunstance. And is very probably he was like that all the time so it cant be easy live with someone like that

And he wasen't only go to visit the daugther he pretend to spend the night with his wife like he cant accept the fact they were already divorce

He was a ticking bomb

reply

Heh, you got the point. I was exaggerating. But a lot of people love to bitch about the wife, and it's fairly sad. I think she was right for at least trying to distance herself away from him, as he has a Borderline Personality, which always tend to ruin relationships in the most scariest ways. Then again she was a bit of a jerk.

reply

I was confused. I was referring to the older woman who mentioned the "giraffe drinking" in among all of her porcelain figurines, but I completely forgot about the wife and daughter who has a habit of using water pistols on TVs.

reply

No, I was referring to the "giraffe drinking" woman who was terrified of her son at the dinner table. Obviously, I didn't realise that once his wife kicked him out, he was living with his mother.

reply

Ginger from Casino is up there for sure

reply

Well, Ginger was Foster, while Sam/Ace was Beth.

reply

Wait, are you saying there are wives who don't behave that way?
