I loved the intensity of Douglas's character. He was hauntingly believeable.

It's virtually unknown to the world.

I just read that it's Michael Douglas' favorite movie (as far as his acting is concerned).

It really nails the sense of overwhelming disgust, of "modern civilization".

Weird, but what brought me here, is that it's Michael's birthday today (9/25).

Imdb is 7.6, which I think is about right.
