Eh, but that's not really what he did in this move. He wasn't trying to kill innocent people. He went on a rampage with little ( and sometimes big) things setting him off over the course of the day. The two people he murdered were a Nazi who might have killed him, and a worthless gangbanger who just tried to kill him. Clearly like in the Whammy burger scene, he didn't intend to harm innocent people. As far as what he might have done to his wife or child, that is up for speculation. But to compare to the nightclub shooter or someone who just massacres his family is a stretch. So the original post is still valid, why havn't we seen more vigilante justice around the country like this? Such a sick screwed up world you think more people would do things like this.

He didn't kill the gangbanger, he shot him in the leg.

I enjoyed the scenes with MD, but the other stuff was DUMB. RD was wasted, and the police scenes were sitcom material, particularly D.W. Moffett's character (what an annoying schmuck...i wanted to punch him). Tuesday Weld was quite good, but an unnecessary character distraction from the main event.

I couldn't even finish the movie, watching it again for the first time in over a decade.

Too uneven, as the non MD stuff was a poor fit for the serious nature of the film.
