Twenty years ago, Season two of Exosquad ended with a cliffhanger at the end of Beyond Chaos. Unfortunatley, The show was cancelled due to poor time slots and declining ratings. The future of the Exosquad will depend on a revival that will take place many years after the war between the Terrans and the Neosapiens ended.

Exosquad belong to NBCUniversal and show creator Jeff Segal. Exosquad was actually a first-run syndicated animated series and first aired in TV stations, NOT on network TV.

well it's a pretty big distinction. Anyway the show's creator pretty much said the reason why season 3 was cancelled was due to huge changes in the syndication market for animation.
Notice that there are no cartoons blocks on broadcast TV anymore.
