Really? I still find this to be a funny/entertaining little film but it seems so many hate it with a terrible score like that.

Yeah, it's a bit underrated. It should be somewhere around 6 or 7.

shareI know!!! I just had the EXACT same reaction!! I was ODing on 90s nostalgia watching this on youtube, and happy to find that I was enjoying it as much now as I had as a child (even catching a few jokes that went over my head as a five year old lol). Came onto IMDB and...O_O People should be so lucky to get another family film anywhere near this good anymore! So happy I grew up on renaissance disney and films like this :)
Pretty damn low. I would give it 5.5-6.0

Strange things are afoot at the Circle-K
This movie just plain stunk. It is vile. There's a reason it's not shown endlessly on cable TV, it's a piece of cr*p. it has fallen into obscurity. Some people will sit and watch any old thing on the teevee. Welcome to it.
I haven't seen this all the way through since pobably 1994. I remember liking it then.
