Why does he really kidnap Dennis? I don't want to paint any
pictures or anything but seriously... I think we all know
what Sam was really up to. And what do you think became of Sam
in prison? I think we all know that they were probably lurking his
chalice, if you know what I mean.
Sam is a thief, looking for things to steal. In that scene in the park watching the kids, he steals that lady's purse. He doesn't really kidnap Dennis, what happens is Dennis is running away from home after Mr. Wilson yelled at him and he bumps into Sam. Sam figures that he has now been scene so he has to take him with him and probably kill him at one point and dump his head into the canal like Adam Walsh. I hope Sam got a lot of crap in prison from rapists.

I've read and understand, that younger kids who could really enjoy this flick were scared shii.8iiiitless by this .......

I wouldn't say he is one but he has that creepy as hell vibe. In real life I could see him doing that stuff but since this is a kiddie flick he's limited to a thief.
