A surprisingly well filmed movie
This flick had some excellent camerawork and cinematography for being a slapstick children's movie. Anyone else agree?

It was shot by the same cinematographer who shot Baby's Day Out--Thomas Ackerman--another slapstick comedy written by John Hughes, which I have always thought was gorgeously filmed. I haven't seen Dennis the Menace in many, many years but I'm sure if Ackerman's work on Baby's Day Out was top-notch, his work on Dennis the Menace is too.
