THE DAD LOOKS LIKE CLARK KENT!

The dad on Dennis the Menace looks exactly like Clark Kent! Anyone agree?

Henry Mitchell seemed so squeaky clean and nerdy (and this is coming from a geek myself!), I guess he and Alice really were a case of opposites attract when they got together (I was jealous of him when I was a kid when this movie came out, lol), just like George McFly! I guess Lea Thompson really had a think for rescuing and marrying timid nerdy guys. ;)

It's amazing how YOUNG he probably was too (early-mid 30s at most, maybe even late 20s), I always imagined he was like 40+ when I was younger because he was so professional and didn't seem "cool" at all.

He is supposed to look like Henry Mitchell in the comic strip, and he does. He has 1950s-style eyeglasses and a 1950s haircut, as does Clark Kent.

Not really, no. Clark has a muscular physique; the dad obviously doesn't.

If this is a consular ship, where is the ambassador?

yea, clark kent, the christopher reeve one was twice henry mitchell's size, like 6'4" 195. henry just had a look alike appearance-same glasses, hair, suit, etc.

LOL I thought the same thing! The guy looked like he could have ducked into a phone booth at any moment! 
