almost no posts, on a great ass film - question about title; araki

This film is GREAT. Should be Criterionized. Perfect film to watch while depressed and completely f'd up at 4 AM. the lack of posts here disturbs me a LOT...

I'll try to start a discussion..

what's the significance of the title DANGEROUS GAME, or even the alt title SNAKE EYES? this film has NOTHING to do with games that are dangerous, especially not snake eyes. I mean you can easily surmise the characters are playing a dangerous game, but really, they couldn't have thought of a better title than that?

Anyone notice the atmospheric and structural similarities between this film and TOTALLY F+++ed UP by Gregg Araki? I'm not just talking about the camcorder recording the characters. Just both films "Feel" similar...
