I just recently saw this film after about 8-10 years of not seeing it, and I have to wonder if the character played by Madonna (Sarah Jennings) was shot in the head by Burns (James Russo). A few hints were dropped, Sarah twice said that he couldn't act drunk unless he WAS really drunk, and I'm pretty sure he raped her(in the movie) because of her reaction to him afterward. It would make sense as the director (Harvey Keitel) was shown dead on the bathroom floor in his own filth. Suicide by overdrinking and overdoseing on Cocaine?
Anyways, I have that much more appreciation of the film than when I was 15 when I first watched it.
