what did you think of this movie
personally, i just sat there staring at the tv screen for 2 hours. Not bad, but definatly not good, just.... there.

It really did not have lasting cultural impact of Buffy
1) who is this movie for--the (then) pre-teen girls swooning over Jason? Their brothers...etc? Their parents...? etc It's never quite clear admirable for Priestly to try and expand his fan base but this screenplay wasn't the 'roadmap' and it's why it vanished from theaters.
2) This movie did not produce a spinoff tv show many years later. Hence why it vansihed itself. I'm sure priestly himself is a nice guy but the movie is forgetable.
When it came out on HBO it was something that was a fun watch.
The friends had a good connection, funny parts.
This and priesleys Coldblooded are very under rated
